Day 11 VCUK-19 June 2019

I woke up early and had breakfast and listened to classical music.

Then I headed over to Clapham where our visits were today. We met Bill at a coffee shop and he bought us something. I got a chocolate banana bread and it was sooo good. It had honey on the top.

Our first visit with with Michael Johnson. He was really interesting and told us all about his books. He is an amazing designer who's been in the industry foreverrr and writes books and music and plays guitar really well.

After we went to Pepper tree. Pepper Tree is a thai restauraunt. It was really good. I got a red coconut vegetable curry with coconut rice. It was a little spicy (2/3 stars spicy) but easy to handle as long as I drank water. It was really really good. I also got jasmine tea and drank a lotttt of liquids.

After that we wandered around for a bit and then went to our next visit at Studio Moross which is a really cool firm that exclusively does stuff with music. So they design tour posters, tour merch, album covers, tour screen designs, award show screen designs, award show commercials and the little graphics, music festival promotional stuff, music videos. They've worked with a lot of really cool people and all their work is fun and illustraty.

So far I really like them and 1883 and maybe I could get an intern with one of them or something similar.

After that we headed back on the tube and I went food shopping at Waitrose and then made ravioli. I'm getting bored of eating. I want to make cool stuff but we don't have a cutting board or blender or grill or a lot of things and all our appliances are finicky which freaks me out. Also buying all the different food items separately is expensive and i dont want to buy spices so I've just been buying premade things.

I facetimed mom and then watched 4 weddings and a funeral which was very cute.

Then I watched Hwarang with Krista and went to bed.

Radish went on a date today with an Irish man from tinder and I am jealous.

Also Syd sent me a thing about how in Jackson, NJ someone posted a warning about people trying to sex traffic women in a parking lot. Last week, there was a shooting scare at a elementary school in my town. This world is crazy and everything is getting too close to home.
