Day 12 VCUK - 20 June 2019

Today I woke up early and had breakfast and listened to classical music.

It's nice today.

Our first schedule today was a calligraphy workshop at AWG which was boring. The guy was really cool and had worked for the Beatles, the Doctor Strange Movie, and was Elton John's personal calligrapher but he just talked about his stuff the whole time and then we watched him do it and we never got to do it.

Then we had lunch. I went back to the flat and had a goat cheese walnut sandwich.

Then we went back to AWG and it was Mike and George Bradshaw (father and son). The dad was more fine arts and sorta boring and most of his art is copying other people's art which I think is sorta dumb. He had us do an exercise like Ashley's class where he gave us a cork and we had to come up with a story for it. But the son's work was super cool and he does graphic design.

Then after I went to Salsa and Radish's flat and worked on my blog for a couple hours. I laid out all the type and everything for 1 week but I don't think I like it. I made it like the Harry Potter newspaper but I feel like it's sorta boring so I'm gonna do something else. I want to make it more experimental and collagy and include little art things like I want to make an illustration of the stuff i've brought and I want to make a monty python type of head thingy with Bill or the Queen.

I facetimed home.

After working on my blog til my computer died I went and plugged it in and then hung out in the boy's flat and watched the US vs Sweden soccer game. It was boring and we scored early on so I knew we were gonna win so I left early.

I showered and then watched Hwarang with Krista.

The new Harry Potter app came out! It's called Wizards Unite and is sorta like Pokemon Go where you have to go to different places to"collect" stuff. I'm so excited for it!
