I woke up early tonight. It's gorgeous out.
We went to AWG today and this guy came who works on the Olympics! It was the coolest thing. He graduated from VC in 88 and has been working on the Olympics ever since pretty much. He organizes and creates all those choreography parts with huge numbers of people and it was sooo interesting.
After we went to Noble Rot which is a magazine and also fancy restaurant.
On our way there a lady bug landed on me that had two spots and I showed Bill and he stopped mid sentence and pretended to bite at it and then turned around and walked away and it was hilarious.
Noble Rot was pretty good. I got Buffala, mint, and peas for a starter then monkfish with ?green sauce? which was pretty good. Then for dessert was lemon verbena something with strawberries which was good. All the food was good but it was not the best food I've ever had. The hand soap in the bathroom smelled good and herby.

After ward I went to this little bookstore that was next door called Persephone's Books which was super cute and they publish books by female authors that have gone out of print. They're all grey covers that are identical but then the inside covers are cute patterns that are found textiles from the year the books were originally published. I bought some postcards cause they were really cute.
Then we went back to the apartment and I worked on homework all day. I have to A) finish the JWT brief, B) brainstorm and make a bench for the Greyworld Brief, C) write nature Wendy Brief, D) make the VCUK blog for week 2 and 3, and E) make the little illustrations for the VCUK blog.
I listened to the Try Guys TryPod and made the two illustrations for the JWT brief. I feel better about that now because I chatted about it at lunch and I think our concept is really solid and not everyone is making finished products and we aren't so that's good.
I facetimed mom and had dinner and then worked more and listened to the MDWAP podcast which is always hilarious.
I went downstairs and watched Love Island and worked on my bench project with Jess. We have two ideas. One is a bench that plays music so the seats are drums, the floor is piano, and the arm rests are a xylophone and it records what you do and then plays it back and can send it to your phone. Our other idea is a friend bench that has a partition and when you sit down it asks if you want to make a friend and then has you choose a topic and if the person next to you also says yes it opens the partition and gives you talking prompts based on the topics you both chose or if there's no one sitting there it connects you to another person sitting on another bench somewhere else in the world.
After I played the BTS game a bit and went to bed.
