Day 3 (with fam)-5 Jun 2019

We woke up in the cotswolds and had breakfast in the B&B and I had pancakes! They were okay.

Then we walked around the town and then went to Berkley (pronounced Bark-lee) Castle. It was really large! We went through on a tour. It is up high on a hill and has a big wall around the hill. Back in the day the river used to flood and make the castle an island! That's a lot of water. It also had a hugeee wall with the castle in it and part of the wall was fallen because it was hit with a cannon by the kings army back awhile ago and the king said you could keep it as long as you keep this wall down and effectively leave the castle defenseless. They agreed and have owned the castle ever since. It was huge and so fully intact. Over the years they've modernized it a bit and made some of the rooms more functional but tried to keep the castle aesthetic so the castle is in varying stages of history including some false castle architecture added. It was really cool and had really cool views and a really interesting layout.

Afterward we had lunch at the Yurt cafe and I had a salad. Then we went to the church which was pretty.

Next we drove to bath.

Our B&B was on the hill so we had a gorgeous view. It was one of the only surviving houses on the street from bombing in WWII so it was old and cool. It had a huge backyard in 2 layers with a beautiful garden.

We had tea.

Our room has a kitchen and two rooms and two tvs. I'm on a little bed under the tv across from mom and dad. This is my first real bed.

After checking in we walked down into the city and did the abbey. It was gorgeous! It has a beautiful ribbed vaulted roof that is completely covered in this thin arches it was sooo pretty.

Then we went to dinner at this pizza place called Dough that was okay. It had different types of fancy doughs for the pizzas. We got the seaweed one cause I thought that was interesting and Grano Arso which is a smoky nutty flavor. The seaweed one was actually awful cause it was seafood and tasted very fishy and the Arso one was aight. Then we got the dessert pizza which was amazingggg. It was chocolate dough with Nutella and strawberries and whipped cream on it.

Then we went back to the B&B and I took a shower in the nice rain shower. BTS did a VLive in Paris so I watched it for awhile. It was Jimin and RM and I commented asking if they have any recommendations to go to in London cause I'm moving there and I'm pretty positive they saw it and responded to it! Aaah

Then we watched Deathly Hollows Part 1 cause that was the only HP movie the B&B had. Mom and I watched and I worked on uploading the KoDACC dances to the youtube channel. We facetimed Lu. She's mad at us.
