Day 31 VCUK-9 Jul 2019

Today is the big dayyyyy. I woke up early and checked to see if Krista finished what she said she would. She did thank god. I can't wait for this project to be overrrr.

This morning we went to Pentagram which was soooo far away. We ended up getting there first so Bill bought us food at the cafe which is great because I need to go food shopping and am completely out of breakfast food. I got a banana and earl grey. I've been quite conflicted on how to spell grey recently.

Pentagram was super cool and they do really crazy design that I wish I could do. The guy who talked to us designs the London Design Festival stuff every year and does really cool Typography stuff.

Then we wandered around Notting Hill. Radish, Salsa, Xander, Jake, Anthony, and I got lunch at this Italian place but I just got a pot of tea and ate a sandwich I packed sneakily. I wanted to go to the restaurant Uncle Chris was talking about but no one else wanted to and I couldn't find it.

Then we had to rush to JWT cause it was an hour away and we left late. I power walked. We passed by this green shed that I recognized but didn't know why and later realized it's a place BTS has been! It was one of the photos they posted that I couldn't figure out where it was cause there's no identifiers in the pic! Crazy.

We got there in time thankfully and presentations went fine. The other groups were all different and interesting and some of them were funny. Our presentation went fine and they told us that they almost ran our idea actually last season! So I feel very validated. Eric and Jim's project won though because they made posters that were trading cards and they presented two ideas. Goddamn over achievers

I'm dumb cause I shoulda bought chapstick at Harrods like I've been meaning to and got the yellow overalls at Portobello road while we were there but I didn't have time.

We went home and I went food shopping and then hung out in Radish's flat and ate my ravioli and we watched Notting Hill and I worked on my blog all evening. Notting Hill was not as good as the other Hugh Grant movies if you ask me. However it was very cute cause I've been there and Hugh Grant is always very cute.

We watched Love Island which was sad tonight cause the one girl voluntarily left because she couldn't get over the one guy and she also wanted him to be able to more freely find a new partner. Love Island in the US starts tonight! I wish we could watch it but it's on too late. I bet it's crazy.

Then I went to bed and watched Hwarang. I'm almost done with it! Tonight was the episode where Tae from BTS's character dies which was sad. I honestly didn't remember the plot of this show besides this episode.
