Today we had breakfast at the B&B and then drove to Stonehenge. It was soooo rainy.

We got there and got the audio tour and took the bus out to the henge. We couldn't see it until we were suddenly there. It was pouring and soooo windy. It was really cool. We got way closer than I thought we would cause everyone always says that you're so far away. There's little mounds all around the henge that are burial mounds which is interesting.

Then we got tea at the cafe and drove to Windsor. On our drive out we passed the Stonehenge which was cool.

When we got to windsor we couldn't find the B&B so we drove around for a solid 20 minutes. It was on this weird little tiny street. We stayed in this lady's house and it was really cute. I felt like I was staying at my british grandma's house. Mom and dad had one room and I had another room (sadly my bed was two air mattresses which sorta sucked but was fine). Then there was a bathroom in the hall. The key for the room was a cool old fashioned key.

After we settled in we walked over to the downtown area and got lunch at the Duchess of Cambridge. I had a vegan burger which was pretty good.

Then we went to windsor castle. It's weird cause I'd forgotten most of it. There were certain parts I remembered specifically but some of the rooms I don't think I've ever been to. There's no photos allowed in it sadly. There's some really super cool rooms too. They've decorated some of the walls with weapons in a pattern and looked really cool.

The first room is the china cabinet and then entrance hall. The entrance hall is grand and really cool with a big staircase and huge statues. Then it goes into another room that has the weapons decorating the walls. Then it goes to a huge portrait gallery which was really cool. Then it goes into a big long room with a bunch of cool stuff. Then its a long room that has a pretty wood ceiling with all the crests of the different knights on the ceiling. Some of them are greyed out cause they've been disgraced and removed. This is where they have big dinners but it recently burned down and they had to fully rebuild it.

Then there's this room that's a ?chapel? and has the gold dining set displayed which has the really pretty shell cup thingy.

Then we went through the queens wing that connects to the kings wing. It's laid out like Versailles and its was ok. I don't remember that section.

Then I met dad outside and we had to wait for mom. Mom was really into it. She loves castley and history stuff.

Then we went to the church which was pretty and had a cool wooden area in the front with where the queen sits and had little metal things and decorations special to each knight and house and stuff.

Then we went back to the B&B and then went to dinner at the Bel and Dragon and it was awful but also amazing. The service was terrible. The waiters were nice and all but it was an extremely long wait for everything. They sat us immediately but then they took forever to take our orders and we ended up ordering drinks and meal at the same time. I got the house white and mussels. Then they took forever to bring our drinks out and then took even longer to bring out the food. The whole ordeal was about 2 and half hours! ridiculous. However my mussels were soooooo good. It came in a big pot and there were sooo many. After we got dessert. We got the chocolate cake thingy and it was soooo good.

Then we wandered around Eton which was cute but I don't understand it.

Then we walked back to the B&B but we wandered a bit. Then we chatted with our host about stuff. She has a son who has lived in American for 15 years and since he went to the Windsor school when he was younger so everyone assumes he went to Eton. Then we figured out breakfast plans for tomorrow. She convinced me to go in and see the queen. We asked her to make me a peanut butter banana sandwich. She had never heard of it and thought it was crazy. She also asked me how many rounds I wanted and apparently that means how many sandwiches and they use rounds as a counter for other things besides beer.

Then I packed and showered and went to bed. Tomorrow I go to see the queen!
