Day 9 VCUK-17 June 2019

Today I slept in a bit and then got up and listened to classical music and had cereal for breakfast and blogged.

Then we had an animation workshop with Jim Le Fevre at the art workers guild. It was so cool! He is super excited and showed us his work and stuff and then we did a little thing where we made a 33 shot animation that goes on a record player and spins which makes the animation. I made a little guy who jumps and says "Carlee Tap!" cause that's what he was doing during the lecture to have Carlee change the screen. It was funny and cute.

Then we went back to the flat and had lunch and then Krista and I took the tube over to the next place. We went to the place written in the schedule but Bill actually changed it to be in front of the station so we had to walk back but he wasn't annoyed or anything. Krista was freaking out that he would yell at us the whole time.

Today we met Nadav Kander who is a famous photographer. His talk was really interesting and he is really smart and makes really cool work but it was a tad boring and he wasn't very personable. He's shot Obama, Trump, Prince Charles, Rami Malik.

After I went to the flat and had dinner (rice stir fry) and strawberries and facetimed mom for a bit. They went to Olivia's bat mitzvah this past weekend and Lu started a Taekwando class.

Then I sang and blogged and then at 9 went and drank Pimm's and watched Love Island with everyone. Love Island is really funny mainly cause it's wild and there's weird voice over for the whole thing and lots of commercials that say "Uber Eats sponsors Love Island" which everyone's been quoting and making fun of.

Then I worked on the JWT brief cause the progress is due tomorrow. We watched the next shows after Love Island which was this weird comedy game show called Hey Tracey.
